The Regional Autism Center stands ready to assist families in a variety of ways. Information Regional Autism Center staff are available to meet with parents and professionals to provide information and support regarding

The Regional Autism Center offers a variety of presentations and workshops throughout the year, including a full day workshop each Spring featuring an internationally recognized expert in the field of Autism Spectrum Disorders. The Regional Autism Center provides training to schools, police and emergency personnel, physicians and others to help the community to be more understanding of the needs and gifts of persons with autism. Resources may be checked out of the Center’s resource library by parents and professionals. High speed internet access is available to parents and professionals doing research on the world wide web pertaining to autism. Student volunteers are available to help families who live in the South Bend, Mishawaka or Granger areas who are using ABA or Floortime approaches for one-on-one home programs. |
